Greetings - Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.

Tala is the goddess of the morning and evening star to the Tagalog people of the Philippines. Daughter to the supreme god Bathala and creator of the traditional Tagalog constellations.

Recently I've been learning Baybayin, the writing system of the Tagalog people of the Philippines. It was only recently I learned that we even had a writing system. And for those of us who were taught Tagalog/Pilipino as a kid, it's actually really easy to learn. There's only 3 symbols for vowels and 14 for consonants, making a total of 17. And 17 just so happens to be my favorite number.
